What's the best cable upgrade for the money for HD600s? 
 
I don't want to spend more than about $150. I see a bunch on eBay fro example, but not sure what offers the best bang for the buck. 
 
Any suggestions?

I got these cables for a custom built Magnum v4 a while back from headphone lounge/chris_himself cables. They are mini-xlr terminated DHC nucleotide cables with a ViaBlue plug. I think headphone lounge just recently got some better copper/silver cables, so you can do an even better built for less than what I paid at around $120. 
 
In terms of sound... they sound great!

okay, thanks. i guess my post wasn't clear enough stating it was a magnum build. next time i will use bold font. OP is asking for suggestions for moderately priced cable upgrades... at least I added helpful information to the thread...LOL
