Alex already heard the SA5000 balanced with the DAC1 & said they sounded very nice..

Zdogg, I too followed your lead and had balanced cables built by Larry. Just got them and plugged in, but I find the volume diminished considerably. Did you find this also, and can you recommend a solution? Using variable mode. Thanks, kendall
