i think you're the first person ive seen that thinks hayley williams has what one would call a "beautiful" voice. I like her fine, and paramore's music isnt even that bad, but i guess beauty is in the ear of the beholder

x2 Madeleine Peyroux is brilliant, try her latest album 'Bare Bones' and 'Careless Love' from 2004.

Also, try Stacey Kent, don't like all her stuff, but 'Breakfast on the Morning Tram' is great.

FYI, all the above are available on Spotify

I doubt she's been mentioned yet, but jj has an incredible singer.
She's powerful yet relaxing, and carries an ambiance and sense of space with it. Check out her track "My Life" as a sample; while critics didn't like the album nearly as much as the debut, the vocals are still magical.

Went through 4 albums with Hayley Westenra after reading some posts of GreatDane... Really great choice of music and well performed. I don´t understand how you can have such treble and absolutely zero sign of sibilance? Not even on the Pro 900 there is any of it! I think I am quite sensitive to sibilance lol

Western female, I can only name a few namely Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Sade, Diana Krall.

Now, let me draw your attention to the pool of female singers that's often overlooked but have some of the best voices : Philippine female singers. They are magnificent talent pools there and some of them have fantastic voice. My favorite are as follows:
1. Regine Velasquez - she sang one of Rah Band track, Clouds Across the Moon, superb. One of Philippine diva.
2. Gail Blanco - her rendition of Barry Manilow and Bee Gees simply superb
3. Nikki Gil
4. Lea Salonga
5. Yao Si Ting - she's not Philippines rather she's Chinese but she have an angelic voice

If you have access to the above singers, I highly recommend to give it a try

I'll throw Maria McKee in there, as no one's mentioned her yet.

Oh, and Diane Birch.
