Hi everyone;

i'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hi. i hope i'm posting this in the correct section

Hopefully one of you skilled technicians can hep me out here; i have a Beats by Dre. Dre Tour and the rubber cable is beginning to break at the ear piece. The wire isn't broken yet just the rubber cable that supports is there anyway i could mend this bf it breaks the wire and i have to go spend all that money on some new ones.

here's an image of the break its in a tricky spot i'm thinking krazy glue or clear epoxy. don't wanna heat it as that may melt the plastic even further.

Here's the warranty info from them:

It appears that as long as you have some sort of proof of purchase (UPC label, etc.) plus a sales receipt, they would handle it regardless of you buying it in the US and using it elsewhere.

If that doesn't work, then I would use some sort of flexible adhesive, such as Goop. You could possibly reinforce the area with some vinyl tape or the like also.

sugru repair putty... dries flexible. Won't look as sleek though.

I would mould some up around the wire entry point, and up onto the earphone a bit.
