"piercing" is definitely not the word I would use to describe 8320/9927 unless you have consumer ears. 
 
Tape the vent port on the 8320/9927 and they'll brown noise the poop out of your rectum.

I'm looking for in ear headphones that has a lot of bass. I've been reading about the monoprice 8320 and the reviews say that it has good bass.

How about trying Awei ES10 ...cheap but they are ear bud though ...massive amount of bass that really pack some power but not so impressive on the other spectrum .

They are cheap and i bought mine for less than USD6 ..no harm giving them a try

Sennheiser CX150. Better than the CX300 in every way and a good bit cheaper to boot.
Sennheiser CX175. Differently shaped than the above, sound about the same, same price.
Awei ES800. Chinese brand, around $7 to $9. Very bass heavy, midrange not as smooth as the Sennheiser's above but very well built.
Auvio 33-266. I think I am the only person who has ever heard of these. Radio Shack brand. This particular model is not made anymore but you can get them on ebay real cheap.

Definitely would not describe them as bass heavy. They're decently balanced, although they don't do anything incredibly well. They retail for quite cheap after all

If you want good sound, be patient, wait a bit and save up some more. Thirty bucks won't buy it. IMO,the Klipsch Image S4's, that some have mentioned in this thread, have a critical weakness, a nasty resonant peak right in the zone of sibilance which I find very disturbing. Excellent sound will raise the cost even more. Once you've heard Quality sound and recognized it, there's no turning back.

Your best bet would be to go and grab a used iem from one of the members on this forum. I ended spending only 60$ on a near perfect sony xb90ex you will never find a better bass iem for that money.

you will never find a better bass iem for that money.

In India, a brand new XB90EX will cost you 56-60$.
However, I do not know if they are made in japan.(People have reported the chinese made ones for poor sound quality)
