America - relentlessly cheery and cheesy, but I can't help but listen to them

Culture Club - not exactly the poster children for masculinity, but I can't help liking Boy George's singing.

KC and the Sunshine Band - Mr. Kasey is the worlds greatest lyricst, IMHO. Again, so damn cheery you can't help but get caught up in it. And, you know you know the lyrics by heart.

The Fifth Dimension - Marilyn McCoo should get some sort of special recognition for hitting two of musics all time lows: this band and being the host of Solid Gold. I remember listening to this in my parent's car on the 8-track, particularly "One Less Bell to Answer" and "Stoned Soul Picnic". The songwriters are pretty impressive though: Webb, Nyro, Bachrach/David, Ashford/Simpson.

Glen Campbell - "I'm a lineman for the county..." Nuff' said.
