I am looking to get a spare cable for my JH13's so that I can try some balanced Protector action.  I've heard that the stock cables provided with the JH13's cannot be reterminated to balanced (not sure if that is true).  I'm also aware that Whiplash Audio makes some nice aftermarket cables....however I am not looking for a high end (expensive) cable upgrade, just a decent cable of equal or better quality to the stock one that is balanced so I can experiment.  On this project I'm not too interested in a DIY attempt. 
 
Anyone have any thoughts on options...or am I stuck with having to invest in a $250-$300 Twag?

The stock JH13 cable should share ground for the left and right so better off to buy or make your own. You can check the FS section since balanced twag cables do pop up for around $200 which is cheaper than 250-300 but other than that I don't know..maybe someone else knows
