aphex twin- selected ambient works vol. 1+2
Although if you want to try electronic ambient for reading you might want something more repetitive like from here we go sublime by the field. You might also look into drone and shoegaze music.

A lot of really good recommendations here... as I mostly listen to Ambient and Field Recordings, I try to keep my list short and general by artists you should check out (in no particular order of course)...
