Are these events good for auditioning headphones?

I'm looking to get a pair of closed over-the-ear headphones that are going to be as good or better than my HD650's with similar sound signature. I was looking at MrSpeaker AEON Flow Closed and Audeze LCD-XC and both will be at the expo. However I wonder about the noise level on the floor, would it be too noisy to go audition headphones? Also, I have O2 desktop edition (no batteries), would they let me plug it in and pair with the headphones to play my favorite tracks?

If you like the HD650 I would take a listen to the Sony Z1R. I ordered mine at Axpona last year from Holm Audio. It is my personal favorite closed headphones. They sound great with the WireWorld Nano PLatinum Eclipse, the Lazuli Reference Dana Cable and the Nordost Heimdall II. Other have also great experinece with the Kimber cable.

I don't know what to expect this year with the new location. Everything in the Expo center could be quite loud. However 162 rooms of other audio gear could be overwhelming. Right now I plan to be there Friday morning.

I'd be happy to spilt a rental with you if your down, but I'm staying at a Hotel about 1 mile away. Your welcome to PM me if you want to spilt the details! When I was exploring it having a rental was going to run about $180ish for 12-16, the 4 days that I needed it. The wife and I also looked at using Lyft and it was about half as much... Either way PM me!
