HAHA
If is funny you say this.  I play and prefer my Les Paul to single coil options and too prefer the early Audeze's (Pre-Fazor).

I wonder if someone who plays p90's 's likes grado's :p

I play harmonica and love the HE-500... :D

It does make for an interesting question, does it not?

I would probably say Grado-heads are people who play Danelectros

A question from out of the blue, if I may.

I'm in the market for active speakers and just wondering what you guys would go for?

Was thinking of Emotiva Airmotiv6s or within that range of $1000.

I didn't think emotiva products could be found configured for the aussie 240volts yet, I could be wrong it's been a good year since I've looked into anything emotiva.

Hey Dickies, they have an Aussie distro now so I assume they somehow configured them to work down here. I think it was late last year or early this year when they declared it.

ah thats good news!
I can't really help much on powered monitors, personally I'd just save up thousands needed for the event opal's, and during the time it would take to save enough for them I would address where the heck I'd be putting them!

I heard so many good things about the KEF X300A that can be found for around $1k when I was looking.
Ended up going for something cheaper for a computer speaker though (Tannoy 502s used for a very good price, which ended up being very nice).

I can lend you a pair of Echobox Finder X1 if you like, they're pretty good.

No need to loan me anything. Just shoot me a PM if you're interested.
