I sent them an email through web form over a month ago and no reply

I got prompt reply from auris audio, when i emailed them my concern two weeks back on miroslav@aurisaudio.rs
Try to contact Mr. Miroslav, he usually replies within few hours.

I've been trying to compare the volume control through my Bricasti M3 DAC/pre-amp (when my Auris Nirvana headphone amp volume is set to max) vs. the volume control through the Nirvana (when my Bircasti is set to pure DAC line out vol) - i.e. whether attenuation at pre-amp stage vs. at headphone amp will provide better sound quality.

I have to admit that I am hard pressed to discern a difference.

Do any of you have a principled opinion which stage is volume control better at? and in specific to the above?

I tried it with my TT2 once, using my TT2's volum control when Nirvana set to max, didn't like the result, it sound kinda harsh and coarse, and easily fatigue.

I’m having a different experience with the Bricasti preamp. Thanks for sharing!

I think it is because the bricasti have a superior pre amp section than TT2.

Anybody here compared Feliks Envy with Auris Nirvana yet? I have asked my dealer to get them both in store so I can compare.

Auris still not responding to my mails after a month. Makes me a bit unsure about support and warranty actually

they never replied to my email from couple of months ago. not great

I am also very curious about the Envy. was hoping to test it at CanJam next week but doesn't look like it's there (unless some vendor will surprise me) - pls report on how they compare!
