I hope you both won't regret selling it. Have had lot's of headphoneamps before, Taurus acts as a chameleon with lot's of headphones. And as mentioned by you, it's a brilliant partner with Vega, even if you don't use it as much. Ofcourse budget to spend could be limited, but if you don't need the money that much - just keep. Future will proof!!!

I agree with that statement, it truly is a chameleon with different phones. It's one of those amps that doesn't blow you away, but always sounds excellent.

It's also one of those amps that makes it very hard to change to another amp, unless you're willing to compromise on something.

Read that the SQ will lie between the Vega and the Aries Mini. That's a huge range to fall between.

Future new owner here.  My Vega/Taurus MKII stack will be here Tuesday and I can't wait!  I have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me out with.  What is the diameter of the feet of both units?  Clearance seems pretty low, so I am thinking about getting some bumpers to prop them up a bit and I'm wondering how big the existing feet are.  Also are the feet flat or what style are they?  Or am I making a mountain out of a mole hill and these stack up fine?  Thanks for any help!

I did put sorbothane feeters like Milty Pods (25mm thickness) between them. Taurus and Vega have 3 feets (triangle). I you'll take reverse positions, size doesn't matter :)! It also prevents moving of stacked device.

Thanks guys. These are the ones I'm eyeing, but I just need to know what diameter to get. Does anyone know what the diameter of the stock feet are?

I like the feet from Herbie's Audio Lab. Will give it some height depending on how much clearance you need.
