Because it's a a fully balanced design except for the volume knob? So all the parts are already there? And having a balanced connection that's ultimately not balanced because of one of the cheaper parts in it is a shame? Why would you care if it's not fully balanced? Fully balanced is just more expensive.
They obviously have designed the amplifier in a way that does not need a balanced volume pot. It sounds different in the two operation modes and it is unique because it uses the four amplifier modules differently between the two operation modes.Because it's a a fully balanced design except for the volume knob? I like buying Amps and some of the older good ones. The Auralic Taurus Mk II is one I am considering, used $400-$500 range. I am unsure how it sounds it does seem like it fits my style but wonder if maybe it's a downgrade from my current amps of Violectric V22, Bryston BHA-1 and SPL Phonitor 2. No offense to owners Auralic Taurus Mk II it's a beauty of a amp I am on the fence about buying.
No, these are my keepers for now. Although I may sell my Rebelamp soon, they stopped making them is going to be a collectors items soon. Are you selling your current amps?
