F*#k, my Vega won't power on this morning. Anyone experienced anything similar? I'm hoping this is something simple to fix. Probably the last time I buy something this expensive with such a limited warranty. At price points like this I think manufacturers should offer a minimum 3 years.

I had this happen when my niece was messing around with it.  I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it came back to life.  I asked her what she was doing and couldn't get a straight answer.  Since then it's been fine.

Must be the only female - aside the 4 or 5 documented female audiophiles out there - to ever go near a piece of high-end audio with anything other than a cautious attitude combined with a face that screams 'Why the hell did this thing cost so much money ?'  .........

Sorry if this an unrelated post but I heard your setup at CanJam 2015 but didn't plug in my Alpha Dogs since they are not balanced. A shame, but would be interested to hear how it sounds.

Not my setup but a similar setup. Strange as the Taurus MKII has both 4pin XLR and 1/4" SE

My HD800 balance cable DIY stuff should also arrive next week. Wanted to try Moon Audio Black Dragon cable, but the shipping to Estonia was 43usd + 70usd for cable . So I got a Mogami 2893 cable instead for 9usd (incl. shipping). Long evenings are coming

I was really nervous before mine arrived, I would always think what if it doesn't sound that much better? what happens if i don't like the sound? And especially after hearing from a few others that it can sound bad until it hits burn in (100-200 hours but 500 for optimal as stated in the manual) but i opened this box 4 hours ago and haven't left my chair since. My afternoon became re listening to how amazing all my favorites now sounded and how much more i can heap all the separation and layers in the music. Its simply amazing and its only going to get better!
