I have an Auralic ARIES 2.1 which I use with Tidal. For some time now, I keep getting an issue whereby seemingly randomly, the next track on an album cannot be played. It throws and error at me (I will make a point to get the exact message but its along the lines of the track 'cannot be played') and I then need to wait a short moment and then reselect that same track and it plays fine. Is there any known issue / fix for this?

I have the Aries g2.1 also, but have not encountered this problem. Have you checked your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connections into the 2.1? Is the 2.1 firmware up to date? Finally, you might want contact auralic directly. They are easy to get a hold of

Fun fact: I was about to sell the Taurus after being disappointed with it because it sounded clinical with my og utopia, then out of curiosity i tryed to plug back the 6.35 mm cable instead of the xlr, and...i was absolutely blown away.
It's like totally two different amp. The sound is now flowing with ease and liquidity.

I have never seen an unbalanced output being so much better than a balanced on an amp.

I loved my Taurus Mk2 amp. It was upgraded to a Silver Fox. The Taurus is nice though.

I've just ordered the new Aries G2.2, I've owned the Aries G1 for a long time so decided to upgrade, I've ordered one with the internal 4 TB internal storage unit.
Really looking forward to hearing this unit.

I uppgraded my G1 to an G2.2 its a good uppgrade, love the sound and the unit operates much faster. But i do feel it has the same old errors and lags where its loading, trying to find the streamer and the software crashes. To me its bad user experience. But its conically really good, i compared with hifi-rose, avik s180 and Lumin U2.

Thanks, I guess you just learn to live with the little issues. It will be interesting to hear the difference between the two. I don't intend to upgrade any further.
