I see why you all fight in this forum!!! When in the world do you read in my post that i hate heat and i hate the design? Please, where? Tell me where I did say it? You would send ppl to jail ahah
Man! Come on! Read carefully, before typing that fast!
First, I’ve never talked about design.
And I’ve never complained about the heat. It’s silly to have to explain again, since it feels so clear from my prrvious post:
It’s crazy to buy a product and not being able to use it properly as intended to be.
Having a class A amp that can act as class A amp only if you’re lucky, otherwise you gonna enjoy class A, only for 30 mins, as temperature raises drastically. And heat it’s not a problem to me! It’s a problem for the amp that switches modes. I’ve had class A amps, but they don’t have to change modes or switching modes in order to avoid “melting”. Class A love heat and I love class A and heat. AGAIN, this seems to be an issue only for half of the users, SO I assume there are different batch of products and some of them seem to be defective.
In order for you to not misunderstand my words (I still don’t get how it’s possible), I love the aesthetic design of this product. Soundwise, I couldn’t tell anything before trying it, but it seems everybody love how it sounds.
Please, ask me if something is not clear about this post, before commenting.
Hope this clarify for you!![]()
Your overall command from your previous post indicates that you have issues with or do not like the S17 functioning design. Quoting you work for work to respond would be wasteful. I'm just sick of reading the same old complains over and over and over.
You do not own a S17 now, but you have issues with its functioning design, BUT you still going to buy one. I don't' get it???
Just buy something else, especially those that you have mentioned so favorability in your previous post. We do not need anymore same old complains over again 50x.

Does anyone use this amp for IEMs? I purchased a90d asy 1st desktop amp as it works well for IEMs and headphones. I wonder if this amp shows its characteristic sound signature for IEMs as well, then I will be more than happy to add this to my chain with confidence.

You might want to take this into consideration also. See post below from a member.
The hiss of sensitive in-ear headphones when used with powerful amplifiers is a very common phenomenon.
But on my S17 Pro, neither 8-ohm nor 16-ohm sensitive in-channel speakers hiss.
If there is a hiss with your headphones, you can use Ifi IEMatch adapter - it adds resistance to the circuit and thus eliminates annoying hissing.

I tried to use it with my xenns top, but without input signal attenuation it is tooo loud on the first volume step..Does anyone use this amp for IEMs? Anyone listening to Arya Stealth on single ended connection? I listen above level 50 in low gain, and don't find a significant difference in high gain (maybe about 5 dB louder). Didn't had the possibility to try it with balanced cable yet.
Never use the single ended output on the S17, it’s horrible, night and day difference compared to the balanced output.Anyone listening to Arya Stealth on single ended connection? I have Ananda Nano and don't remember how much the listening level changes between single ended cables and balanced although I did compare the two options with otherwise identical cable and the balanced sounds much better..Anyone listening to Arya Stealth on single ended connection? The difference between high and low gain is only about 4-5db and it sounds better on low gain.
The only thing I know...is that after one month, the HE1000SE is better on the Aune than on Oor+Hypsos while Focal Clear MG and Audeze LCD XC better on Oor

Hi. I have a question for the owners : on my Meze Elite I have lots of noise when using the balanced output in high gain. Is it normal because of the high current delivered or should I send it back ?

If you haven't done so already. I would suggest that you pick a few tracks that you really like and know well, then sit back and enjoy the music. Do the same tracks with the other gain setting. Perhaps you might notice some changes/differences. Sound stage width, depth, a little more forward, backward, etc.

I use Arya Stealth with S17 Pro through a balanced 4.4mm output. I use 100mA mode and low gain. If you use the 50mA mode, the sound (to my ears) becomes noticeably worse.Anyone listening to Arya Stealth on single ended connection? Hi All,
After spending some time with the S17 and comparing its performance to the previous gear I’ve owned during the years I personally distinguish four categories of audio equipment that make you feel/say:
1. “That sounds like a snare drum”
2. “That is a snare drum”
3. “That snare drum is actually in my room”
4. “I can hear or distinguish the brand of snare drum and actually sense the musicians having a good time” (if I had the right knowledge/experience in snare drums
The S17 was my entry into the fourth category.
It sounds really great, pleasant and accurate tonality with lot’s of detail, never ‘in your face’ or ‘in the way’ and you can choose to be carried away just enjoying the music or if you want to look for detail (subtle characteristics of accoustic instruments like snare drums) it will present you that insight.
Very impressive and a joy to use.

Clarification
Just to clarify something since there was a misunderstanding about the working class of the amplifier.
As the engineer told me, the Aune S17 Pro is always operating in Class A mode at both quisencet current settings.
There is no Class AB working state in this amplifier.
The Aune S17 Pro is a pure Class Amplifier.

And I`m still waiting for my S17 ordered from Hifigo on the 22th November.
