Aune M1P

Hello @AuneAudio.

I have some questions about some options you might include in future firmware revisions of the M1P.

Do you plan to extend the volume to 100 steps or add a low-high gain option?

To make the M1p boot faster, could you add an option to disable microSD scanning at startup and offer it as an additional option from the menu?

Thank you very much for your attention.
Hi, thanks for your advice. As we haven't received many of such requests, we are not planning to change the volume steps or the startup scanning, at least for the moment. If in the future, more users express such needs, we may do some adjustment.
When you don't use card (for example, you use Bluetooth) you can try not inserting the card, and there won't be the scanning process.

It is a pity that it is not taken into account. My intention is to help in those aspects that I think would raise the value of the product. But you are also right that if there is no pressure from other users, it is not worth the effort.

On the other hand, your advice not to insert the card when using Bluetooth is a good idea... But my unit doesn't have Bluetooth ;-)

my 256gb card scans in seconds maybe 5 seconds so thats good. however I do see the benefit of making that an option in the menu, for users with bigger cards / files.

cheers

Thanks for the detailed feedback. About Bluetooth transmission: The M1p output needs to consider both analog output and Bluetooth transmission. In the case of maximum analog output amplitude, Bluetooth transmission may clip peak. It is recommended to lower the volume of the M1p when using Bluetooth transmission and adjust the volume of the Bluetooth speakers. About car aux, we are not sure what the cause is. The M1p was not made for car, and the situation may be up to the car. If lowering volume of the M1p works, you can use it that way. And if you have other players, you can test them and see if there's a difference. Thanks:)
thanks for the reply, appreciate it.

Thanks, may we ask on what occasion does a user not want a card scan when he/she powers on the device?:)

@AuneAudio today i couldnt favour any tracks. seems like the player is limited to 426 favourite tracks (not very many and a seemingly arbitrary number).

im guessing this is the case? bit disappointed as i like to favour tracks then shuffle through them.

Great minimalist player in fact sounds better than other players I have imo, but to use it more often Id really appreciate a better fast forward and reverse, it’s impossible to listen flexibly to long tracks, mixtapes, etc with such a slow forward
i agree. holding down the button for a number of seconds should speed it up

@AuneAudio I am suddenly getting an error in my file system of “no file” for the vast majority of my folders on my sdcard. No such problem with this sdcard on any other device, tried reinstalling the firmware to no avail. Any experience with this issue?
Is this card FAT32/exFAT? Did it use to work fine and went wrong later? Have you tried aother card?

Hi, limited by the internal storage, Favorites can include 512 tracks theoretically. Some storage may be occupied by other data.

Hi. I just received a m1p a couple of days ago, and I'm quite delighted by the simplicity and quality of its sound.
I'm however concerned, as I could not get it connected with Bluetooth (not even identified) by the different sources I was considering to feed it (including Samsung S20FE, S21FE, tab A8 and iphone SE 2020). Cayin N8ii is identified by the m1p (only as a potential receiver - not as a source), but no music could be shared. The previous owner, which has a recent iphone, had no such issues .
I already had the same concern when doing a test 2 months ago with a different m1p which I had the opportunity to test for a few minutes.
I'm definitely enjoying its sound... but as streaming is my main source, I require some functional BT.
Does anybody here have any idea / feedback on what could be the root of this BT non-connexion / how to fix it ?
Thanks in anticipation
