Thank you for the link.

Check out my Audiosense T800 review too, mate. I have some short comparison between T800 and DT600.

This might be too off topic, but I am one of the seemingly few who really like the AQ7s. If I wanted to upgrade and buy IEMs in the 1000 dollar bracket, what would you recommend? I was thinking about Campfire Andromeda, but the warm sound signature gives me pause. I live in Sweden and will probably have to buy blindly.

I auditioned the Campfire Andromeda 2020 recently, and I think it is an upgrade over the AQ7 (which I sold away). Better technicalities and soundstage for sure. Only thing is that the CA2020 is very fussy with sources, compared to AQ7. The CA2020 hiss with some sources, and due to the lowish 12.8 ohms impedance, pairing sources with high output impedance may skew the frequency response of this set. Ideally you want something with output impedance around 1 ohm or less.

Had my DT600 arrive a few weeks ago only to find the right unit was malfunctioning - a very harsh crackling and missing regions of the FR - which was a shame because the left unit sounded so good. Got in touch with Audiosense and they immediately shipped out a replacement.

Sitting here listening to the DT600 + 30ohm DUNU adapter. It's an excellent all BA IEM that has a lovely subbass shelf, resolving mids and treble without nasty surprises and great imaging. I'm not a fan of the included 80ohm adapter that compresses things and makes vocals nasal. In fact, I prefer it without an adapter rather than with the 80 ohm. The DUNU 30ohm introduces a much better balance and I think an equivalent impedance adapter should be included as standard.

I'm going to write a review for these at some point because they're very impressive. This price point is getting so competitive now!

Will anybody be so kind to compare DT600 with Blessing 2 Dusk? Am using the last, and have ordered the first. 2-3 week waiting.... :)
Will be looking forward to your impressions of the B2 Dusk vs DT600 mate. Since no one else responded to your comment I'm assuming not a lot of people here have tired both.

I have only tried the Blessing 2 D's very briefly and I reviewed/listened to the DT600s for a lot of time so take this with a grain of salt.

Tonally, the stock DT600 sounds completely different, it's an L signature vs. a neutral with bass boost. Technical performance is actually surprisingly about on par with the B2D, probably thanks to more drivers resolving better, even with the bass "veil".

With the 80ohm IA, the DT600 is very similar to the B2D, the same neutral with bass boost signature. Bass and mids were pretty similar but the B2D had rather muted treble whilst the DT600 is actually a little bit bright. For the treble sensitive the DT600 might be an overcorrection but for me it pushes the DT600 above the B2D. In terms of technical performance, the DT600 pulls ahead here, the drop in the bass and increase in treble improves clarity, extra treble pushes forward detail and soundstage actually widens/opens up from the stock config.

Hope this helps!

FYI

80ohm resistor is too bright for me as well.

I am liking the 20 ohm adapter I just received from Penon.

DT600, their redemption after the last garbage. Needs a resistor (20-30 ohm) and tanya filters but it is pretty damn good now.
