Audiophiles in Dubai?

I just received the FLC8S and they sound decent (first few hours with them). Burning them in. Thinking of a portable DAC/AMP for them and thinking between the Mojo or iDSD.

I will probably meet @Koolpep one evening so he can try my Mojo. I believe he has an iDSD, so maybe you can join us.

Would be great indeed! Let me know when and I'll come by. Would be nice to try my FLC8S vs Ralf's ASG 2.5 as well!

Are you from /r/dubai?

Welcome :)

What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of sound do you prefer?

maybe @koolpep can help you with iems.

for full sized headphones for aed 100, you can go with HD201 locally. For aed 300 Im not sure what options are available locally but you can get sony mdrv6 or creative aurvana live shipped here under that price. Read up on |joker|'s comparative threads for iems and portable headphones.

Ok.

My favorite IEM under $100 is the Chinese LZ-A2 - however it's currently being updated and not available for sale, maybe in a few weeks. It's a dual balanced armature, one dynamic driver in-ear. Come to the next meet up and you can try them....

Now to the IEMs available for this price:

Fiio EX1 for AED 299 (from @Mazen4samma3a) https://www.samma3a.com/en/reviews/fiio/ex1-headphones-201.html

MEE-Audio M6 Pro with exchangeable cables and great fit AED 199  https://www.samma3a.com/en/products/mee-audio/m6-pro-in-ear-monitors-headphones-193.html

And some really affordable ones with great sound (both around 30-35 USD = 128 AED):

EDIT: removed

and a dynamic only drive with amazing sound:

If you want to stretch your budget a bit for 399 AED you can get the bluetooth Mee-Audio X7 Plus that I am listening to right now https://www.samma3a.com/en/products/mee-audio/x7-plus-wireless-sports-in-ear-hd-headphones-192.html or the equally nice Sennheiser Momentum in-ear for the same price.

Also keep your eyes peeled on Dubizzle for some used bargains...

Cheers!!

I recently bought the Beyerdynamic DTX 101 iE  from Massdrop based on Koolpep's recommendation for $ 37. Quite nice. Smooth sound with good bass.

the IE800 sound like a great deal! what about durability?

how much are the LZ A2?and are they worth waiting for?

So far no issues but I didn't use them daily. The LZ-A2 is really good sounding - I would think it's worth waiting.

Again, next meet up April 15th come and try them - you can hear if they are worth waiting for
