I am going to get the IM04 for sure but not right now, possibly after 6 month.  But something is telling me IM04 prices will not drop down that quick, it took a while before ck100pro prices dropped down this much.

last year Audio Technica products have quite quickly lowered price. Almost by half, but then rised again a bit.

The more consumer stuff yes but the higher end AT holds the price more strongly. In this case the dynamic driver 50 and 70 may drop quicker but I wouldn't be surprised if the armature based phones, as per usual for AT, make us wait longer for any significant price drop.

i'm definitely gunning for a pair, but i'll wait for reviews to come in before i jump.  i'm most interested in people ABing the IM02 and IM03 vs older ATH BAs, namely the CK10, CK100, and CK100pro.  (get on it Joker!!)

I think that IM02 will sound similar to CK10, IM03 to CK100Pro and IM04 would be bass and smoothness edition of IM03. and maybe IM01 will be like CK90ProMK2. But reviews will tell about that.

My mate in Japan will try to get me the IM70 tomorrow. I would get the IM04 as well, but can't really be bothered lol.
