They are beauties.

You need to get the W2022 on your head if you can! They're truly the best creation we've ever made :)
Thanks! Yes, they are indeed... The leather is gorgeous... And I am surprised by the sound signature as well.

Ah... the 2022... I missed the demo sessions in Singapore when ATH SG sent out invitations. Oh well... :)

I heard it is very balanced and punchy. The WB2022 is also. I couldn’t resist that though even though the price is very high for a Bluetooth.
Give the AW-KG Naru a listen as well. It is also very balanced and punchy. Great soundstage. I will say that I am very impressed by it. :) Hence, my further exploration beyond the L5000 from @Uncle Wilson from Jaben SG.

Is balanced and punchy becoming the new AT house sound?!
Only time will tell. As long as the vocals remain wonderfully portrayed, I’m good. :)

The headphones I have heard that have a good reputation for vocals are: Sennheiser Hd600, Mysphere 3.1, Audiotechnica wp900, AWAS, w5000, L5000, WB2022, Final Sonorous X, Denon 9200, beyerdynamic T5P 2nd, Audeze X, Focal Stellia, Ultrasone ED15, B&W p9. What’s the best you have heard for vocals?

I really liked awkt, Susvara, hd650, kennerton planar Ragnir, tungsten DS, I thought d8000 pro LE wasn’t bad either.

I auditioned Susvara and I didnt think Susvara did vocals better than any other TOTL headphone. I would choose Utopia or Elite over Susvara for everything including vocals but I don’t find any of them do vocals better than the headphones I mentioned above and definitely not better than JVC SW-01.

I wouldn’t touch utopia or elites over Susvara on anything, especially a properly amped Susvara. But I won’t deep dive Susvara there is plenty of literature on this subject.
