I listened to the ATH-WP900 in Tokyo today and really loved the sound. And like I don't have enough headphones already, I actually bought it! It could be nice office headphones.

Used like new for about 260 euros ($280). Not a bad deal!

Anyone here tried the ADX5000 or other AT cans? Did you like them over the WP900? My pair is getting long in the tooth and I'm sensing the bass is getting fatiguing somehow. Even though I've enjoyed them for over 3 years now. Maybe I need new pads? They aren't worn out really but they have at least a thousand hours on my head.
I'm waiting for them to release an upgrade to this with a slightly less low end. The AP2000ti was unlistenable sonically although comfort was amazing, and both the AWAS/AWKT were terribly uncomfortable. The WBLTD is coming out on the 19th but it's pushing above the $2k price bracket.

I want to try the ADX5000 but I think the comfort will be the same as the AWAS/AWKT, not sealing on my head at all.
