Has anyone here tried modifying the shape of the red housing? Or, do you know of anyone who has?

Either:
A) Removing the drivers etc and having them put into custom enclosures or
B) Going at them with a dremel to polish off the square corners?

I'm currently using a little spacer (not visible) + the UE900s foam tips as can be seen in the image on the left. These tips are slightly more dense, slightly less easily compressed and far more durable than regular Comply tips. Currently, I also have the filters removed from them.

I'm back to stock tips after having "channel imbalance" issues, even with the filters taken off and the insides cleaned. Sometimes I still think there's some imbalance but maybe it's just placebo - i'll try clearing the air vent.

The cables have gotten a bit loose and wobbly where they fit on the housings. They snap tight but it does feel a bit unassuring. I am not sure if it's the cable or the housings that's causing this problem.

Ue900 tips...nice, are these left over tips or did you acquire them separately?
