I've found the ESW9 for £185 at Accessory Jack and i'm wondering whether the ES10 Titanium is worth the £60 extra.

I heard the ath esw9 before but not the ath es10, but i heard the little brother version of it, the es7. The ath esw9 has a wider soundstage and more bassy(warm type of bass?) than the es7, the es7 is more of a straight forward type of headphone with lesser bass and soundstage. And since the es10 is a higher end model of the es7, i think that the sound should be similar but i might be wrong.

Well, that's all i can remember from my quick impressions at a audio technica booth at a IT fair in my country. Both were playing the same songs and i guess most probably from the same output device.

FWIR, the ES10 is like a refined ES7. Brighter, bass and treble oriented (like a baby, older version M50). The ESW9 is warm, bass and mid centric, with smooth highs.

I didn't like the ESW9, but loved the ES7, so I'd personally go for the ES10.
