Guess I'll be the first to not really care for the looks... now if somebody would make a wood casing, that might get my attention. Still, I hope they sound good.

Cool....I wonder if this thing sound anything like the Sony MDR-E888, MX-500, or KSC-35. ...don't forget to post your impression.

I've been frying these with my XLO CD Burn in track #9 for about 60 hours now and I'm convinced that these little portable phones are something very special.

I'll do more listening and posts more thoughts here later.

I'm extremely impressed so far...

Lou, that's what I'm trying to determine right now. I think the overall presentation of the AT is more precise than the 35. However, those that appreciate the substantial bottom end of the Koss phones will miss that characteristic in the ATs. Don't get me wrong, I love the 35's and that's what I'm comparing these phones to.

Personally, I'll sacrifice some of the very low end to have an accurate upper bass and sweet midrange-top. The sound-stage and focus of these phones are way beyond the 35s. So far, these ATs are doing more things right than I would have guessed.

I'm still listening...so I'll reveal more later.

HI: RICK you got me. I just ordered them in silver. I am hoping they will replace my 35s and portapros. If they do wow they will be much smaller than my portapros and easy-er to carry. We will see. I mean I got a mini amp and a mini disc now for some mini ear phones. LOL

HI: If they lack bass cant I add one bass on my mini disc Or do you think that would mess up the sound. I have a nice mini disc.

I don't know, Lou...I'm listening with my Sony MZ-E900 to Rush/ Vapor Trails and the ATs are sounding great without any bass added. If you need a little more, just push the button! These little phones are really amazing me...
