Audio Lokahi IEM impressions and reviews thread

Does it sound like a spherical soundstage? Or more front-back narrow? Do you feel it's worth the price with the competition?
Think of wearing a Bunny Ear 🐰 on your head, turn 45° from vertical and horizontal lines. That's the soundstage.

Price worth, I guess so. Surely better than many IEMs at the price point.

Been listening to my Clairvoyance for the past couple days. Found myself missing the Lokahi. As a whole the clairs are definately a step up. But something about the Lokahi keepa drawing me back. When I slipped these backon im just like "ah, I kinda missed this". Between the Clairs and Lokahi my z1rs are back in its case resting along with my other iems and headphones.
Did the male vocals get better with time/burn in or do they still sound a little lacking(texture, detail)?

I don't think so,
burn in doesn't change the sound,
unless it have a DD or EST,

Tuning > Technicality,
that's why some people that have $2k iems still have a blon bl-03, 😅

I dont know if im correct or not, but im assuming the DIYer uses the same shells for the different models he makes. Some of which sports a DD driver, which is what that vent would be used for. Storm being an all BA set that vent does not do anything to the sound.

My Lokahi arrived by way of Superbuy. Took some prodding along the way but eventually, it was shipped from the Taobao store. Looks like a vent to me with mesh over it

Yes, with something like vent but not sure the effectiveness. Mine does play veey loudly, seems like a super efficient iem, hence amp is not necessary (i tried with Hiby R3 saber pro and Hip Dac) but i enjoyed more with amplification.
No bass slam BUT bass is very tight and present - that should satisfy everyone except bassheads.

Take to nondestructive inspection lab to have internals scanned to verify what the hole is. Or, maybe we could ask the maker.

You can get an Azul the same way I got one: https://prisma.audio/products/azul
Seriously, it is a nice set and Josh deserves some support.
It is a bit of a jump from a neutral 2BA laid-back set to a full-on attention-grabbing 7BA set that doesn't mind the upper end of the volume knob.
