Congrats man. Do you have any balanced cables yet?

At the moment, no. But in a couple of days, I'm buying the ones Audeze sells online.

It's way more than I wanted to spend, but honestly... I think this thing is end game for me. It just has so much power, with a great chip, I'm not sure there's a better value in this price range. I can't think of a reason I'd ever have to upgrade.

I've heard good things about the iFi too, I'm sure it's a great choice. You got your TH600's yet?

Not yet. They'll arrive at the office while I'm away, so I won't be able to try them until a week from Monday. Doh!

I had forgotten about the NFB-11, though. Seems to have very similar specs as the iFi Micro, but is cheaper and doesn't require a funny OTG USB cable. Basically $350 shipped to USA. Not a fan of the front toggle switches, but it still looks like a solid unit with a good volume pot, flexible inputs, Sabre chip, enough power for my HD650, and a pretty good price that's within my budget. Hmmm.

You can on Input 3, but ideally it should be a 75 ohm cable.

Thanks for the info. Just found out my sound card doesn't have coaxial... I read S/PDIF output and didn't see a toslink, so I thought it had an optical. Turns out one of the rca outs also has an optical laser inside of it and I have to use a mini-toslink cable..

USB it is lol

I guess I'll just stick with USB lol

I presume your NFB-28 has already arrived (mine is still in customs). How are you finding it?

I'm not sure if mine has even shipped yet.

I'm waiting for them to update their shipping page. Did you get an e-mail when yours shipped?

Yeah, I got an email from DHL (I live in Brazil). Btw, have you checked this page? http://www.audio-gd.com/Shipment.htm

I always thought you were USA DAVID, lol.

Edit: NVM, you did check the shipment page.

Hey all, I just wanted to pipe in and state for anyone looking at the NFB-28, that it pairs awesome with LCD-3s.  I've tried a lot of gear over the past couple of years (nothing super high end, mind you), and this combo is up there with my BHA-1/PS-1000 combo that I loved so much.  I can't count the number of times I smile during the day as tracks from my playlist are brought to life.  :)
