While I am still figuring out the best configuration for my DI + NFB-1 and whether to buy the NFB-11, it comes the NFB-10

It got the "dream combination" of ACCS/Balanced preamp/Balanced headphone amp/Sabre32.

i've always had  a soft spot for these more-in-one devices; great value, less cables. my dream unit combination from Audio Gd would be <Balanced preamp/Balanced headphone & speaker amp/PCM1704>, something like Peachtree Nova. i'm sure Kingwa would be able to build one without too much compromises. with pace he has been releasing new products, i'm crossing my fingers for that to happen sooner than later, although i should probably give up on PCM1704.

To be fair he said no more dedicated DACs this year.  So he has kept to that, but seriously, that is a lot of products to roll out all at once.

The NFB-10 is actually making me kind of regret purchasing my C2/DAC-19DSP combo.

I bet the cost would be similar, except I would have gotten a balanced DAC, a balanced amp, and preamp outputs of not only RCA and XLR, but also ACSS outputs as well.

It's not like audio-gd finishes one product then starts on a new product, multiple products are developed simultaneously.  If you are buying something from audio-gd and wonder if the product will be replaced soon or there will be a similar product released soon, just ask them.

As wise IPodPJ once said on these forums: nothing from Audio-gd is ever final :p Kingwa seems to be a perfectionist who likes to keep himself busy, and isn´t afraid to modify / replace existing products if there is a technical reason to do so.

It looks for me like there is 3 discrete powersuply units, and not only the two for the analoque part as discribes on the site?
I guess the third is for the analoque part of the es9018.

(edit the above seems to be wrong, at least the analoque suply for the 9018 is for sure not discrete)

Although Audio-gd's DAC choices are excessive, this NFB-10 being a DAC/amp combo is pretty unique and a nice addition to the Audio-gd gear. I just hope it doesn't sound lifeless and cold like Benchmark DAC1 (knock on wood

Agreed, it´s a good addition to his range. Personally I understand some might see the lineup as confusing, but I think all products have their own place there. There´s nothing that really overlaps anything, it just looks like a perfectionists list.

It doesn´t seem that the NFB-10 is a NFB-1 with preamp and headphone out. It has only 1 transformer while the NFB-1 has 2. Power supplies are 7 groups instead of 5 but is understandable for the new features in it. Hoping a price like the one of the NFB-11!!!

The powersuply is all class A in NFB-1
