How are you doing that? From what I can see you're not actually using D4's DAC but the DAP's.

Unless you usually have a USB chord that is not pictured.

I probably wouldn't because will be using the ACSS along with the DAC-19 which by passes the opamp anyway therefore would be a waste.

The C-2 makes the K701 jump out and scream-finally someone can play me to my potential

The detail is imminent,it was so clear to the extent of guitar noise being heard.

Congrats on k701, great 'phone. They do change a lot with burn in . It wasnt so obvious at the time but now , Im pretty sure. But some burn in (if they are new) than update your review with k701 and little comparison with sr325 on c2 , Im very interested.....

The K701's are used but probably have not more then 20 hours on them

I recently changed the opamps to LM49710 as per the advise of Kingwa because I found the default OPA604 a little dry and grainy,especially with my AKG K701's, the LM49710's are really smooth with definitely more substance in the low end which is audible straightaway, the music was more clear, the mids are a little less forward but not by much.

yeah, you can't go wrong with this setup, i sit here and listen for hours upon end and am never dissapointed. The setup is fun too, i find my self headbanging all the time to metal (generally what i listen to).

haloxt I not sure the C2 has aluminum footers (although I could be wrong).

Pricklely Peete, I notice you own the LD MK lll, how would you describe it in comparison to the Audio-GD C-2C?
