@ 0:52 - Looks like these might work with 2.5mm if one uses a 2-sided cable.  That also gives me hope that a non-proprietary Cipher cable might one day be available from Audeze.

Are we talking "Pleather" ear pads? I didn't like the Oppo PM-3's pleather at all. I hope these are a better type of pleather. Otherwise color me interested

oBrovo makes the EAMT-3A, which is an Air Motion Transfer IEM. AMTs are cousins to planers. You might want to try those, but they aren't cheap, I think. 
 
Their ERIB-2A, ERIB-3a and ERIB-4A are all Planner IEMs (though their web site says AMT, they are planers).

  Oppo pm-3 is $399 vs Audeze Sine $499. Waiting on a comparison. The on ear part seems like a odd choice though. I had a pair of Beyerdynamic 1540's and they were unbearable to wear.
