I was also having a lot of disconnect and popping issues when connected to my series x. It was driving me insane as I wasn't say that far away from XSX. But moving the Xbox closer to where I sit just a little bit seems to have resolved the issue, for now at least.

On a serious note though If that's ok with you for a moment :D. How far away are you normally? I play at my desk so I am only about 2 feet away I haven't had a single disconnect as of yet.

I have a problem with my peronse x. If I have the sound of the helmets at maximum volume 100 and the sound in the chat mixer of the headphones to the maximum 100 and play games like call of duty, Gear of war 5, when there is a sound of explosions, grenades, helicopters,..... my peronse x They turn off
All this happens when I've got all the volume at 100

I just opened an account to share with you guys my experience and issues with the Penrose X. I have been using the headphones for almost 2 weeks now, and I absolutely love the sound quality over my Astro A50s. However, good things end there. I have been dealing with the popping/clicking issues since the first day, and turning off 2.4ghz on my router and using a powered USB hub significantly reduced the issue. Now, it only happens rarely, sometimes when the battery is low, and I can live with that even though my printer relies on 2.4ghz wireless. However, I had never had any interference issues with my A50s, even when 2.4ghz was turned on. Also, the maximum gameplay I was able to get from these headsets was 12 hours. It starts warning me of low battery around the 9-hour mark. Also, charging it with 5V/1A plugged into the wall does not charge it fully in 3 hours; it takes 5 and a half hours to charge fully. I have emailed Audeze support regarding these issues and will update here as things unfold.

Absolutely this.
Our original design had the chat mix as the primary and volume gain as click+ rotate. In our beta testing everyone complained and we swapped it. Now it seems everyone wants it the other way. Maybe we should do a poll before changing them back again.

@Audeze Yea I would change it to how it was in beta tbh. Just curious Is there no way we can have the option to change EQ's with a button on the headset?. Are there other changes are in the pipeline? Can you tell us anything?

They wrote to me and said yes the x dongle is currently working on ps5 but they can't guarantee of it will keep working. So it sounds like they might do an update in the next firmware to make it not somehow. Or the xbox will do it. So if happy with how it sounds now and they release an update id wait to see responses if it kicks people off of ps5. Prob their way to make you spend the 35 on a new dongle. Than you have to unpaired it to each dongle every time you switch consoles
No.There is a lot of speculation here. We do not plan to remove any compatibility intentionally.

I'd be cool with a poll. I vote chat/game mix primary even though I don't have the headset yet this just seems to make more sense. What would be even cooler is to just put a setting in audeze hq where we can pick which we want to be our primary so everyone gets the way they want it.

But I'm just hopng the chat/game mix dial works on pc. I've heard it doesn't (and neither does the software for it on pc). I get my headset Thursday but nobody has confirmed if it does or doesn't work on pc.

Quite a bit of features in the pipeline. we might stagger them in a few releases. Adding button support for EQ selection is one of them
