The movement of the Audeze LCD3 driver (speaker) is too fast to be seen by the naked eye. In order to visually showcase the precision of our planar magnetic technology, we suspended an Audeze LCD3 driver and covered it with thousands of miniscule colored glass particles. We then fed music to the driver, causing the particles to mimic the motion of sound waves. This process was captured at 2,500 frames per second by a Phantom Flex camera and presented in ultra slow motion.

Thought this was a rather neat presentation of the drivers, although at the end I couldn't help picturing myself wearing headphones while sandlike particles jumped into my ears.

Amazing! How did you film it whilst still applying a magnetic field?

Is this actual photography or CGI?

I noted that the diaphragm had some non-pistonic modes going on there....where different parts of the diaphragm surface were moving differently...
