Inner height = 2.5 inches (64 mm)
Inner width = 1 13/16 inches (46 mm)
Depth = 11/16 inches (17 mm)
And if you insert paralon to make the depth greater than 17, is there room for this?
(According to the principle as in the photo)

I'm not sure about that. It feels like there is a little room to insert a paralon, but the pads are glued to the cans, so I don't want to mess with them too much. It feels to me that even if the paralon can be inserted, it would not increase the depth of the pads, though.

Yes...I forgot about the glue. It is not convenient to conduct such experiments with him. It's a pity that the manufacturer didn't make at least 21 mm. Or even angular.

Did soneone compared the MM100 to the MM500 in long session? Is the 500 worth 3 times the price? If MM500 its only 10-20% better i would give the MM100 a try
Very hard to quantify in percentage how different they are. I have still really like the 100s, I was using oratory’s preset and I mastered a couple of records on the road extremely quickly. One of them was quite a difficult set of mixes. The client absolutely was over the moon about how great they sounded.

The mm500s and lcd5 get more resolution as you go up in price. Much more detail out of the 500s, and the lcd5 really blow anything out of the water for detail. Absolutely no contest. But the MM 100 are certainly great for what they are. I think it’s a bigger leap from mm500 to lcd5 than from mm100 to mm500.

Thanks for that Thermos.

Here in Norway the latest news on the Audeze distributor's website is that the MM-100 still isn't available. They have now changed their previous delivery date of 'Dec 5th - unconfirmed' to just 'Not in stock'. So no new MM cans here before Christmas, I guess? Don't know how the situation is in the rest of Europe and other countries around the world?

The price listed is still NOK 5990, which translates to $547. The MM-500 costs 24490 Norwegian Kroner here, which is ca. $2238. So actually 4 times the price of the 100s.

I was in Oslo two weeks ago and had a chance to finally try the 500s in one of the pro shops. Very impressive! Still marginally too shouty for my taste, but I've heard they take EQ well, so that shouldn't be a problem.
I also gave the Neumann NDH30 a test run at another shop - on the same material. They fell flat on their face in comparison for me, I'm afraid.
