Thanks! That is significantly lighter than the standard LCD4. I think if Audeze listed this as an additional option they would sell a few more units as the 735 gram weight of the original really scares a lot of potential customer away...

Good suggestion. Everything that Trevor makes is quality. Not all of his offerings are listed on the website. I used the Draug on my 2f and X. You might check to see if he is still building that model. When I got my 4 I moved to a silver cable. All Audeze are warm and I feel all models benefit from a silver cable.

All copper - could consider the Danacable lazuli reference. Expensive. Rich, warm, lush. But agree that it must appeal to your taste

I have confidence that Audeze will come across with something amazing if and when an LCD-5 is produced. What I fear is that we will get no more than a refresh along the line of what has been done to the X and XC. I also have less confidence that a 5 will happen soon with Audeze's focus on gaming headphones. Me and my wallet are waiting.

Don't worry about anything, no need for that. Relax and look forward.
Also the gaming focus is good, it's a huge market with lots of untapped potential and people with a lot of spending power.

Curious about why you have developed an aversion to Abyss. Please share. I am considering a pair of LCD-4’s and currently have Abyss 1266 TC’s.
