Beautifully coiled hehe.
8x23AWG silver/copper hybrid.

How does it compares to stock?
I don't believe in cable sound, I only buy custom cables because they are nicer than the stock cables - and because I needed a 4.4 Pentagon plug :)
But it sounds great :D

I have the Artic Cables Talos but I never really use it often as I prefer the 1/4 connection on the HA-3A and that cable is a 4.4 balanced but its the most beautiful cable I have.

Arctic Cable makes beautiful cables, but if I configure one to my liking, I'm almost at 1000€ - and that's just too much.
Customs of course comes on top of it...

Doesn't the Woo Audio WA33 push the Abyss 1266 to it's potential better than any SS amps?
Yes you need a high end tube amp IMO to get the full potential of the Abyss, and being a bit harder to drive is also a factor. Abyss off the Bartok was very flat / lifeless, which to me shows a lack of current / drive in the Bartok amp. No better off the DAVE either. LCD4 is great out the DAVE. My point if the LCD4 really needs a leg up in the transparency / speed area, so some warm and slower tube amps (or SS amp) will not work IMO.

Since cables make no difference to sound, and I prefer light and flexible cables, Periapt cables are the only sensible option imho — you can get a custom 10-ft for $100.

Anyone try the LCD-4 with the ampsandsound zmf pendant?
Yes! A fantastic pairing in my opinion. The speed, extension on both ends, and midrange texture of the Pendant really play to the strengths of the LCD-4.

I have the normal stock black cable that comes with LCD2 and I hear a difference between that and the stock cable that comes with the LCD4.

I encourage you to try the stock black and tell me you don’t hear a difference with your LCD4.

Usually IMO some silver content can increase low level treble details and air. If thick enough, bass don't suffer. Copper is good for taming the highs, add some warmth. On the cables I have tried. YMMV.

New cable day:

And while we were at it:
I can only repeat, LCD4 & HA-3A are a perfect match.
Best tubes for my taste are 6V6G Fivre & E80CC Phillips/Valvo.

Was just wondering. Are you using the M19 as a preamp to the Cayin? How does the M19 standalone differ as an SS amp as apposed to the Cayin amp standalone without the M19 the in chain?
