For all LCD4 lovers try the Rosson RAD0. For me it has better tuning then LCD4 and is as fast as the LCD4. Especially the highs are better. Very rich mids and great bass extension and punch.
But Audeze is not sleeping they will come soon...

I'm hearing 90% metal and for me the RAD0 is better. The mids are more real. It maybe with lcd4 a little sweeter. Everyone has other preferences. You have to test it.

They are heavy headphones, but i would not call them uncomfortable, they are very comfy.
That being said my VC is more comfortable. Both are pretty heavy cans.
The headphone band and adjustments look pretty similar...here are a couple pics to see for yourself.

Not sure why the VC seems more comfy, maybe just the weight, but the LCD-4 is still comfy and I would not really worry much about the issue unless you just can stand heavy cans.

I am used to heavier headphones so I guess YMMV.

I never really notice the weight. Especially over a couple of hours. On the rare occasions I go longer I usually use the Voce. But that's another thing altogether. And I agree on the mids of the LCD-4. My favorite part. Go to headphone for rock.
