I might email audeze directly n ask if I can buy replacement pads. Hoping with my serial number and warranty info they'll be willing.

I mean they list the pads for sale on their site, just buy it from there. They're $80 a pair

My dudes, how much weight (in grams) is saved by adding the carbon headband to these? Realistically I don't see myself shelling out the $200 asking price for the CF headband but I am considering it...on the looks alone lol

EDIT: It would also be nice if maybe the CF headband was more rigid and therefore provided more clamping force. I find the LCD2C to still be just a little too big even on the smallest setting.

dont buy the carbon fiber unless you want to waste 200$... spend that money on toilet paper XD

Why is it a waste though? Assuming I like the way it looks (I do) and assuming it saves some much needed weight. In their current state, they fall off my head if I look down even on their smallest setting. I was thinking the CF band would be stiffer as well, therefore clamping a bit harder.

Ah damn. I guess most of the weight comes from the giant driver/cups lol. It's quite comfortable I just wish it clamped a bit tighter. I do wonder if the CF headband would clamp a bit tighter

Finally I chose a slightly thinner leather headbanc than the previous version, I find it more comfortable. I simplified the design of the red leather, now I find that it fits better with the general style of this LCD2C !
