The picture does show the carbon fiber headband. It should be 70 ohm like the original lcd2.

Weird.......That headband just looks like typical metal to me rather than the carbon fiber weave on the LCD-4 headband, I must be missing something...

Quote from the website: “Carbon fibre suspension headband.” So maybe a different pattern but still CF.
I'm gonna guess some type of lightweight material like the rings are made of, as long as it's strong??
No matter, when these hit a nice sale price on a site like Adorama, I will most likely get them. Excited for some reviews.

I asked audeze about the headband, and they said the lcd2c head band is a “spring steel suspension headband with perforated strap. It's not the same as the LCD-4 headband, but is a more cost-effective version of it.”

Guess they should update the website. Or maybe it’s still subject to change?

Hi, yes the 6XX is the 650 ... cool I look forward to checking out the closed and open versions of the aeon

BTW anyone ever tried driving the 650 with chord mojo? Sound OK?
Yep works like a charm.

Here's to hoping that they will sell this headband for a reasonable price.
Honestly .. $200 for a headband?

I'm definitely interested in how they would compare to the HD 650 and HD 800. I always find different opinion on which is more "neutral" LCD 2 or HD 650/600/800

If you cannot reach a consensus on which ones of those are neutral and which are not, someone's trolling you real hard and/or you haven't read enough reviews and impressions. The LCD-2 (especially without fazor) are not neutral and are complete, polar opposites of the HD800 (and 600, to a lesser extent).
