I was a little bothered by the cardboard box as well, and I wonder if when they raise the price if they will also include a better case. And yeah, I also didn't notice any markings on the cable to indicate left or right, but did red R and blue L, and then tested it with some audio signals. Seems right.

Really well built headphones and they are as comfortable as the AFOs just a tad bit heavier. Initial impressions is that they are more neutral than what I thought they would be, very resolving, and faster than the AFOs. They look and feel well put together with a nice heft.

Going to give them a week of head time before making a final decision on them.

Everyone who wants a great amp for LCD2 can check this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/112075700414
https://www.ebay.com/itm/112689929666 - This is balanced option, i bought this one.

Today you can use ebay mobile app and coupon code PSAVEONAPP. This will give you $15 discount. $353 bucks total with worldwide shipping for 95% Audeze Deckard is pretty amazing deal.
P.S.Today ebay has some issues with paypal login, many people stuck on "checking your info page", to fix that just change country to Canada in mobile app settings, in this case ebay mobile app will use ebay.ca checkout process that has no problems.

Real difference between MATRIX M-STAGE HPA-3U+ AND AUDEZE DECKARD is about 5%, because the are made by the same manufacturer:

Good luck!

Man, I'm completely engaged with the music with these babes, and they literally disappear from my head after a while, what a level of comfort!

I'll post my impressions anytime soon, but for now is just me and the music, not technicalities nor audiophile boundaries... :o2smile:

Can anyone compare this to hd650 or hd660s?

I own HD800 and LCD2. HD650 is closer to my HD800's than my LCD2's. If they were Pokemon, the HD800 would be one branch of the HD650's evolution and the LCD2 would be a different beast entirely. If you still want a comparison knowing that, I (or someone else) could do that, but I think that's the first point to emphasize.
