The Woo WA11 is a portable yet powerful solid-state amplifier that brings a smooth, tube-like warmth to the table without sacrificing detail or precision. Pairing it with the Audeze LCD-2C, a planar magnetic headphone known for its velvety midrange and rich, full-bodied bass, creates a harmonious synergy that many describe as “warm” or “liquid.” The WA11’s clean but slightly lush signature enhances the LCD-2C’s already inviting tonality, resulting in an immersive listening experience characterized by soothing vocals, articulate bass lines, and a gently rolled-off treble that never feels harsh.

Adding Roon into the mix elevates this pairing further. Roon’s robust DSP engine and user-friendly interface allow for precise EQ adjustments, fine-tuning the LCD-2C’s response to personal preference. Its advanced library management also helps you discover new music that plays to the strengths of the WA11–Audeze combination—ideal for those who appreciate a cozy, intimate soundstage and a fatigue-free presentation. Taken together, the WA11’s effortless drive, the LCD-2C’s lush planar sound, and Roon’s versatile platform form a truly delightful trio—warm, liquid, and thoroughly engaging.

When I had Roon I absolutely liked using their LCD eq on my LCD-2Cs.
I still have my original pair from the first launch. They've got a place in the stable, but yes they do have a dark tone to them. As previous posters have said that's sometimes the right tone for the mood ;)

What kind of pin does the LCD2C uses? I am trying to get a XLR cable.

Finally had some time to install the 3D printed fazors on LCD2C... (on both sides of the driver ofc).

I was afraid it´ll kill the stage from what I´ve read on fazor vs nonfazor comparisons, but even though the stage seems narrower now, the highs are so much cleaner, better defined and well extended now!
Imaging seems to be more precise and maybe even bass got tighter? I can´t say for sure now as I listened to them only a few hrs, but so far I think its worth to try if you have access to 3D printer.

Adding FR + waterfall comparison where you can see how the treble got filled nicely.

Hi. I'm the guy that designed those 3d models. Nice to see that someone found use for them. I think if you will 3d print them in higher res or spray them just a bit with lacquer to smooth the surface they might work even better.

Can anyone offer me any guidance.
I got the LCD2C about 6 months ago to use as an alternative to my main headphones. I really like the sound as its so different from my 1266TC and HD800S, but i really struggle with the comfort. Its not the weight, its the grip on my head. Its just too tight and after 20 minutes or so I have to take them off.

I have tried various different things , like cup positions .......gettong them as slack as I can , but the grip is still very tight to me.

Anyone any ideas I can try......otherwise unfortuately I will have to pop them in the Classifieds.

I had no problems with the comfort originally but when i switched to the Dekoni vegan pads it felt better. Probably the material and padding is what you are looking for.
