Sigh... My freshly delivered 2Cs were confiscated by the wife to be wrapped and placed under the Christmas tree, where they will sit for another two weeks so that I "have something to open on Christmas morning." How nice for me.

Ha ha ha, mine arrived the other day and went straight under the tree along with a Penrose for my son.
I can absolutely feel your pain!

audeze 2c or lcdXcreator .... decided to try on both on a local shop

2C => mellow sound .. good for love songs , the bass isn't as thick as the lcd X creator ( yes i know price more than 2c )
brighter than lcd X but, darker than my sundara .. from me a sundara daily user.. this 2c quite an upgrade from sundara

the lcd X creator more fun with all the bass e.g;
i tried aurasonic - all i need ( progressive mix ) and LATHI - weird genius,sara fajira
but when i switched songs to sumting mellow like celine dion ... love the 2C more than the X

and also ... that lcd X creator was heavier than 2C ..
i will be aiming for an ARYA/pre-loved lcd4 ( after i sell other cans like my sundara, hd6xx and hd660s )

I think the Classics will be replacing my Sundara's, but I do like my 660's. They are very different from the rest.
You are really shooting for the high end.

i found that my 2C didn;t go well with standalone ifi micro bl ( even with turbo mode but the sundara/660s really excellent with it )
right now i enjoyed 2C with topping D70+smsl sp200/valhalla 2 ..happy with the purchased so far
trying to forget the feeling of the lcd X + cma 12 master @ the local shop

Today marks a full week of listening to these every day. I am pretty satisfied.

I have been trying to sell a tube amp for several weeks with no luck. I decided today to unpack it and put it back in the system.

This is a pretty sweet system:
The chain is DAP (NW-ZX300) to DAC (SMSL SU-8) TO Schiit Loki (pic attached for settings) to MAD tube amp (Ear+ HDII).

Started with lots of Kings of Leon, moved on to lots of the Police through some Puddle of Mud and currently on a run of Queen.
Wow, this is a great combo! The Classics seem to enjoy a little a little bass boost:


These were one of my pricier purchases, but I have to say that I am pretty happy with them.

Never say never on Flagships, but this mid-fi is Really working for me!

It was excellent! Even better with the Schiit Loki in the chain.

Am so close on pulling the trigger on the LCD 2C but still having 2nd thoughts about the Ananda.
Anyone got through this dilemma? As most reviews are in favor of the Ananda sound wise (apart from the build quality and QC issues)
