For heavily instrumental music like symphonies and even some opera they can sound just a little thick and reverby, so I find myself using EQ to tweak frequencies below 1000. But on these motets, the stock sound is just perfect and really makes me feel like I'm in the room.

Ah anither freak like me who enjoys these with classical! :beerchug:

Duhhh - for those who can read.... Are they as heavy as the LCD4? Those gave me a headache - literally.

I just sold my LCD4 - loved the sound but they were too heavy. Maybe I should try the LCD2C; not sure.
Almost 150g lighter. Tyll did not like the lcd-4 much preferred the 3 and 2. You can find the 2c for 600 still in the sales threads. Just post a wtb or look,

I've got my LCD-2C listed in the sale forums if anyone wants to snag them at the "sale" price. Throwing in a free 2.5mm balanced cable.

It's a Dyson Audio Cable that I got from eBay. Excellent quality and did the trick -- for about $50.
