I am very, very careful with my head/ear phones, but still broke 2 clips. If you look back, you will see Frank88 solved the problem, with far stronger horse shoe part, fitted to stronger/thicker Clips. I use mine daily, and never had a problem since.

One of my small ear hooks broke this morning, without digging through the entire thread, does anyone have any suggestions outside of ordering another set from Audeze? Something more comfy and stronger maybe?

Just got my 20s, upgraded from the LX. Holy crap! @Audeze what kind of wizardry went into making these? The LX sounded great, but the 20s are on a whole new plane-ar of sound.

I broke two shiny plastic clips, within a week, the new one lasted longer but broke where the clip meets the horse shoe part.

That is one of the reason I don't use the provided case. It can't accommodate the hook, you will need to remove/put-on every time. I decided to go with the Pelican 1040 case as other member had indicated at this forum. That way, the clips are always on; avoid the need to put the clips on/off each usage.

For those of you, that have not gone through all the thread, Frank 88,( Ask him nicely.) will make you some far stronger horse shoe parts, then on Aliexpress, or eBay, buy earphones clips, which are far stronger, and ones that have the removable shoe, fit Franks part, to the new clips, then you have a very strong over ear fitment. This also applies to the M300, Frank makes a different horse shoe size for them, use the same clips. I use M300/ iSINE 20, most of the time, and have had no more breakages. If you are not sure of anything, PM me or ask on here.

We'll I was going to say venture cables but you killed that one! I'm also having a hard time finding cables which I know have the notch that are reasonable. I'm okay with the venture cables I got from massdrop, haven't ordered their stuff from Ali....

If you find any, let us know!

Ended up picking up two of these on in 2.5mm SE and one in 2.5mm balanced (4.4mm balanced is also an option?).

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5mm-Bala...hash=item3d4f8835f0:m:mFNvMyvmYY6svoXdskBFfvQ

We'll see how it turns out. At just under $16 each I'm not sure what to expect, but as long as they are no worse than stock I'm happy.

UPDATE: Found another option. May have to grab one and see if there is a difference:

Sad part is that Audeze's own Cipher cable is what gives them best sound, and I say sad because I really am not the biggest apple fan out there, but MAN do those sing with the cipher cable...
I broke down and bought a cipher cable for my 20s, and you ain't kidding!
