You need to buy this headphone. The sub bass is spectacular. 

10hz seems audible even though it is not, during tone sweeps there was some fluttering of the drivers. 20 hz is very audible, 30-40 hz is fully kicked in and rich. 

Curious what you mean by fluttering- do you just mean you could feel the air pressure from the subass notes?
(just a little confused since I am most familiar with this term as a type of bass distortion that can happen due to overdriven/damaged diaphragm where it becomes unable to sustain low tones producing a 'fluttering' effect, but seems unlikely this would be happening in this case).

10hz is so slow that it sounds like a fast fluttering and you can notice it on the Eikon. No distortion. 
 
The Eikon is the headphone I have been wanting to exist for a very long time.

Yes you did! But the fact that these new hps sound so good made it easier. Although I bet The Milo would make the Code-X sing!

It makes anything sound good from what I've heard, it's got like 18w of power lol.  That was my "wow" moment (at least with the new dynamics) at RMAF, listening to the Milo (and the new Dana Cables amp) with the Eikon's.

Been keeping an eye out for the Milo as well, looks stunning but I don't think it'll be within my budget, it's like $1700 right? I'd need to sell some stuff off, my Pathos Aurium is not going anywhere but maybe I could part with my WA7 and get part of what I'd need. Think I'm good on amps though so probably wiser to just save up for something else. It does look beautiful though, and 18W, damn.

My two word review of the Eikon + Milo pairing would be "sonic tsunami." Just a massive, powerful wave of sound. I'm seeing this pairing in my future as well!
