Hello all M50 lovers, I got a pair of M50 (Coiled version) last Thursday (and new to the forums), and I have been enjoying the sound of these cans very much. I had been using EIM for few years, and after reading so many exiting reviews of M50 for many months, I decided to get me these. And the all the great reviews did not disappoint me.
However, I am little worry that my M50 bleeds sound somewhat. I never used any full size headphones before, so I don't have anything to compare with, but I can hear the sound from more than 10 feet away when the volume is set to more than 65% of my iPhod (iPhone). I checked this while my daughter was listening. Is this normal? I am little worried because I share the office with others and it is rather quite office. And I do not bother my office mates. I was hoping to use these cans at work.
I guess I can turn the volume down to less than half, but it seems the sound is at best when the volume level is between 60% and 70% on my iPhod. Am I listening too loud? I had been using Sennheiser CX 500 for many years, and I was satisfied with low volume (about 35%) from my iPhod, but with M50, I like the sound at around 60%.
I have read many reviews on this topic, and it seems most of people were satisfied with the isolation these cans provide, so it gets me thinking I have a bad pair. Or is there a way to reduce or eliminate the sound bleeding?
Thanks for your helps in advance.
