Unfortunately ... I left my L3000 in my home country (I'm in china atm

), thus I cant do through out check on my L3000 (I just listen for 10-15 hours before I left it). I will do the test asap after I going home sweet home (cant wait

).

BTW hows the different between AD2000 and L3000 Nik, I might interested to get that cans on my way back home from Singapore

did you get it used? that's a low serial number for a new one IMO... unless some reseller had it in stock for a while and just now clearing them out or something like that.

anyways, congrats on your new cans.

I wouldn't worry too much about the amp upgrade, it sounds pretty good out of almost anything.

I agree with this statement completely. The L3000 sounds great even out of my Sony Pocket Vaio.

Ayt, I got it brand new from Hungs Brothers during my trip to Singapore. From the seller saying, I think it's their last stock (The staff told me they stock few of L3000 before). I get 1 year warranty from ATH singapore, so I hope its brand new

.

Btw Ayt I just curious, whether you try your DHA with other cans? Does it perform well if you combo it with other cans (Like senn and Beyer DT880)

Nah, its not thier last stock. The boss told me he sold two of three quite recently and i guess that was to you. He said that if I wanted a pair, he could order one for me. Btw, how much did you get them? He's giving me $1560 USD.

anyways, I don't see why EIFL cannot check the L3000 after repairs for Nik.

OMG! Is that two L3000's a HE90, one Stax 007 and 010 I'am seeing in your profile? Not to mention the amps and the two HD650s........

thanks for the info.

I'm sure it is new, just that I thought retailers wouldn't have anything with a serial number that low since currently most being sold are in the 400 range AFAIK.

I haven't had much time to try other headphones with the DHA3000, but they all sound pretty good from it. even the R10 which is a very picky headphone when it comes to amps seems good with the DHA3000.

congrats yosh.
biggrin.gif
they are great headphones aren't they?

if you are fine with the limitations of the DHA3000, it is a great amp / dac to get for the L3000. I've tried many amplifiers with the L3000, and the DHA3000 is definitely one of the best. I would recommend it a lot, especially considering some of the prices I see for one in Japan.
