ATH-A900 size: HOW big?

anybody know if the A900's have as huge a profile as my sony cd3000's?
there are people at work with full sized phones, but the cd3k's stand out like a sore thumb. I am hoping the A900's are at least somewhat less humongous.

You'll be dissappointed, because the A900's are some of the biggest cans you can get.

No such luck. :p The Ax00 series are humongous by any standard, and stick out like a sore thumb if you want stealth...

Why would you stash away your supply of zip lock bags in your PS2? Can you still use it?

Hahaha...azure, I remember reading your thread a LOONG time ago when I was first looking at headphones (I eventually bought the AD700) and I remember thinking...What is wrong with the PS2??

The A900's are definitely smaller than the CD3000's. They are much lower-profile, so they don't stick out of your head like some kind of alien technology, and lack the huge floating headband several inches above the head. Still pretty big as most headphones go, but almost anything is smaller than CD3k's.
