So these are the two that competes. Theyve got all the features and ins and outs that i need. Just wanted to hear some of your opinion on them because every review that I see seem to tell different things.
 
How do they compare? Which is more bass-heavy? Which one is more detailed?
 
I want all of these things, but I put detail before bass. So, enlighten me!

Don't know about the Essence Once, but I read a review where someone compared the Furutech GT40 with the CDM+ ... And the GT40 won! Apparently the CDM+ sound isn't quite up to their expectations...

However that person uses a Chord USB cable, so clearly they drink the snake oil. Just pick the device which works best for you and I'm sure you'll be delighted. (Warning: the CDM+ requires custom drivers due to its high-resolution DAC chipset, it's NOT plug and play standard USB audio)

I don't know why the essence one is so hard to find. I've not been able to find it, the reviews are also scarce.
