Tried the mitre case and didn't like it either good fit but really cheap feeling synthetic leather. Sr25 might be naked for a while. I don't like the dignis case because of the back. The official one was ok but I was worried about the side opening coming undone. Plus it's 80 bucks

It's stayed in place for me. Sort of a friction fit, it tucks behind the DAP around the corner and fit overall is tight.

I just don't like how easy it makes to press the top/side buttons.

Yeah I liked the old slide in style of the official case. The mitre is the same style but not the same quality. Yes the buttons can be hit too easily.

The stitching on my A&K case (black) has started to unravel in one area on the back. Only owned it since March this year.

That's totally unacceptable really. I mean for 80 dollars it should be Italian leather with good stitching. Not Italian plastic with crappy stitching.
I thought the "official' case felt kind of thin and I sent it back too.

People are getting nuttier and weaker and workmanship is mostly crap nowadays.

Hi all, for anyone interested I have managed to install Apple Music 3.6 Beta with lossles and hires in the Sr25.
I followed the kind instructions of riclib in the Se200 thread. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/ast...-with-multiple-dacs-head-fi-tv.935878/page-64

In my case, I have used the latest version in Apkmirror and transferred to the Sr25 after the modifications.
Good news: the sound quality is simply fantastic to my ears. I love the tuning of the SR25
Bad news: the beta is still a bit unstable it seems. It is a beta after all

Hmm I wonder if certain apps can be manipulated to work on sr25, I'd love to be able to use neutron, hiby music etc.

Pretty sure they have to be whitelisted first. Not as open an OS as the sort of stuff HiBy and the Chi-Fi folks have.

On another note, looks like v6 of the Qobuz app is available now. Really wish apkpure would get their stuff together regarding the Spotify app so I could upgrade that one as well.

That reminds me, I'll have to check amazon HD for an update.
Yeah I know ak is protective of their sound sig and hiby and neutron have tons of dsp/eq enhancements.

I think it would be fun to mess with them on the 25.
