Picked up my SE100 yesterday and loving it. Now to start reading the 78 pages of this thread lol. Sounding great with P5's and PM-3's. I have a 2.5mm to XLR on order, can't wait to try balanced with my 800s'. A couple of tips in case they haven't been covered...

Latest Tune In Radio (22.3) won't load, you need to get 22.2
Audible APK works even though I've seen no mention of support:)

Anyone having issues with Tidal stopping playback after one song in an Album?

Jason, +1 for Roon end point!

Congrats on the new dap. Balanced is definitely better in any ak dap. Yes i occasionally get tidal stopping playback as well. Especially during offline mode. It becomes less when you update the playlists while your online. Just select the playlist and let the songs load.

Thanks Peter. Chilling with some nice DSD Jazz on the PM-3's tonight. Ordered a balanced 2.5mm cable for them (single ended ATM). Suspect these will be my goto's for this DAP. If I get out the HD800S, might as well use the HA-1. Planning on taking the SE100 to a dealer for a listen to the Neumann NDH20. See what Zeos is raving about LOL.

Jason, if you are monitoring how about whitelisting Plex? It's pretty good for getting to the home library on the road...

We've had a few requests for Plex this past weekend. I will pass it along. I use Plex pretty extensively with video, but not with audio, so I am also interested in playing around with it on AK players.

Thanks Jason. Also, please consider whitelisting OpenVPN, will be handy when Roon Ready:)

How come when I remove SD card and use in another device when it is put into the AK the playlist are emptied. Edit: for clarification, the playlist were made on the AK to begin with
I'm not aware of what the issue may be. Certain aspects of playlists were broken when the OpenApp feature was added. Our software dev team is working on revamping playlists for a future update, but I will pass this on.

Is there a way to take screenshots?

Listening to DSD with HD800S tonight. Drive is fine single ended. Have the volume at 145 which gives around the level I would usually listen to on the HA-1. Sounds stunning! Looks ridiculous with the 12 foot cable and 2 adapters LOL. Will report back on balanced performance when my 2.5mm to XLR arrives.

For those interested, I can see it doing the full unfold on MQA files. No idea why anyone would buy these though. Curiosity got the better of me and I got a couple of albums. These will be my last...

The Miter case and XLR adapter arrived today. Listening to Plan B in MQA on the HD800S now at 125 volume. Full volume is too loud for me using balanced, but not so single ended. The drive is no problems for HD800S, will dust off the 650's later. Might have to go looking for a short HD800S to 2.5mm:) Still waiting for the balanced PM-3 cable...

Rocking without a screen protector Bancanus, but you have me thinking. Jason, can you please tell us about the glass durability? Is it Gorilla? Generally I hate screen protectors.

The balanced PM-3 cable arrived a few days back Checking out the new Ed Sheeran (red book) tonight, it's better than I expected. I haven't bothered A-Bing with the unbalanced cable, but I think the sound is pretty close, maybe the bass is a bit tighter. However, the battery life using balanced is much better. I picked up a small leather shoulder bag that just fits the SE100. I now have awesome portable sound moving around the house. Doing the domestic chores is so much less painful now. Reminds me of my younger days with the first portable Toshiba CD player. Showing my age LOL.

Can do a battery test next time I'm home for a day if there is any interest?

This Dignis case is :fire::fire:
Highly recommended, fitting is perfect and the Alcantara feels great.

Looks nice Thomas. Is this your only case? If not, how does it compare to others? I like the stand on the Miter, but wouldn't mind getting a leather or Alcantara down the track.

I also have an official AK one. It's nice too, real leather, but leaves the top right corner entirely uncovered. Plus this Dignis one clearly wins in the looks department.
